Mekniy
Mekniy (Nissiian: Shinsegye; Loringian: Sacoer-Aeeru) is the older of the two constituent nations of Mekniy-Lurk and its cultural centre. Formally called the Sixth Mekkism of Mekniy, it has existed in one form or another since 2009 — making it the oldest active micronation in the Czech-Slovak community.
Name
The official state name is “United States of Mekniy and Lurk”, with “Sixth Mekkism of Mekniy” as its second name, shortened to Mekniy. The Nissiian name Shinsegye (reconstructed *siansēktai) is thought to combine proto-Ilmekniy roots meaning “noble” and “sixty”, a reference to Hanunkx’s retinue. The two names reflect an old division: the Mēk dealt with foreign affairs and was known to outsiders as Mekniy, while the Shisais ran local administration under the name Shinsegye. Other languages picked up the external name; Mekniyans kept the internal one.

Geography
Mekniy sits south of the Krkonoše Mountains in the Bohemian basin, within the Český ráj region. Ilbun, at 744 m, is its highest point and the highest in all of Mekniy-Lurk. The landscape breaks into six zones: South Mekniyan (open poplar country around Yeoju), Central Mekniyan (fields and shrubs from Yeoju to Tokinava, split by the Brada Line meteorological anomaly), Praxoveu (the sandstone rock formations), Eastern (forested, humid, around New Seoul), Northern (cooler and heavily forested, around Mikasseu), and Meshil (similar to Central). The rivers Ssidelhwa (Cidlina), Aesara (Jizera) and Libaehwa (Libuňka) cross the territory, all eventually draining into the Labe.
The Praxoveu Kxeroruropxisoyeot rocks (Prachovské skály) near Yeoju are a national symbol: 60-million-year-old sandstone formations, a protected reserve on both Czech and Mekniyan terms, popular with climbers, and a recurring image in national anthem videos and TV news graphics.
Economy
Mekniy-Lurk runs a high-income, export-oriented market economy focused on services and the digital sector. It participates in the Aenia Confederation’s internal market and uses the Corona (₡, CRN) as part of the Corozone. Monetary policy is set by the National Bank of Mekniy-Lurk. GDP per capita is estimated at around $5,175 using the income of the economically active population as a net export proxy; considering only the economically active population, the figure rises to around $21,000.
The Corona is primarily electronic, handled through the Verona transaction system across four banks. Physical coins and banknotes exist but circulate rarely — they function mainly as collectibles. The first minted coins were issued in 2021.
In Lurk, the tech sector includes companies such as Aerosoft and APSILAB, involved in building several of the national IT systems.
